How And Where To You Attach A Gremlin Bell To A Motorcycle?

Where is the best place to hang a gremlin bell on a motorcycle? I know it should be the lowest point but I wouldn’t want it knocked off pulling into a driveway (my bike is low). Also, what is the best thing to use to attach it? I’ve heard zip-ties don’t last long.

I have a bell on my 1200 cxl Harley. I hung it from the left foot peg.
and I used a fine stainless steel wire. Its been there 8 yrs

the myth of the road gremlin bell says to hang as low on the bike as you can and to the front and I like to use a key ring. Also the myth says you are not to buy the bell in order for it to work a friend must give it to you.

  • Firecracker .

I used the split-ring that came with mine.
You can put it anywhere your heart desires.
Just make sure that it will not interfere with any other part of the bike.
On one bike, mine hung from the front brake caliper.

I would put it under the headlight. Use a small piece of wire as a zip tie might rot/break eventually.

Just contract the work out to a fairy and let him worry about it.
